WHEN IS THE BEST TIME for FAMILY PHOTOs in portland?
Summer is truly magical in Portland--everything is so lush and schedules are more flexible. Fall sessions are also beautiful, but if you’re planning holiday cards, book early to account for unpredictable weather. I typically book 6 weeks out, so reach out as soon as you've decided on a session so we can get you on the calendar!
WHERE WILL OUR SESSION TAKE PLACE?
Each session location option is handpicked by me each season to photograph beautifully. You'll be able to select one of these naturally beautiful locations with flattering light and plenty of room to play. Most of my locations are on the westside, near Hillsboro, Beaverton, and Lake Oswego, with some options closer to Salem.
Do you travel to the columbia river gorge or the oregon coast for family photos?
Yes, I do offer travel to Lincoln City or the Columbia River Gorge for custom family photos. You can learn more about Columbia River Gorge sessions here, and Oregon Coast sessions here.
We're don't feel natural in front of the camera, will you help us?
That's normal! Most people don't feel comfortable in front of a camera--myself included. I guide clients into natural interactions with gentle, specific direction so that you'll never be unsure of what to do. You'll come away with photographs that reflect your natural interactions.
