Sorry, friends. I obviously fell down on blogging this winter! I tend to post weddings right away on Facebook and then dive into editing to get my couples their wedding photos back quickly, but I know they’re waiting for their blog posts too! I’m doing some catching up this week, and I’m so excited to share Shellie and Kevin’s beautiful fall wedding at McMenamin’s Grand Lodge in Forest Grove!
Shellie’s entrance to the wedding was down an iron staircase from the Children’s Cottage down to the ceremony at the Sequoia Grove. Her daughter met her at the bottom of the stairs and walked her down the aisle.
Once Shellie met Kevin at the front of the ceremony site–they waited, and waited, until Kevin’s brother stood up from the front row and walked up to them to MARRY THEM! This was a total surprise they had planned, and it was such a sweet surprise for Kevin’s mom!
Then we had some portrait time in seriously the most MAGICAL light EVER.
This bouquet!! It was so beautiful! And I loved the rustic barnwood elements in the reception–always my favorite!
Congratulations, Shellie and Kevin!! This was a BEAUTIFUL wedding!
