So about a month ago, I had one of those moments of early morning total clarity.  I’d just woken up and I was thinking about what I needed to do and what I actually wanted to do that day, and about how it has been EIGHT YEARS since I started my photography journey.  And I just felt like that was something I needed to celebrate.  And I wanted to celebrate it first with the wedding clients who have all trusted me with their own BIG celebrations!  So I decided that what would be the MOST fun would be seeing EVERYONE again!  Like a big amazing reunion of all my favorite people!

I got in touch with all of my past wedding couples and offered to do an anniversary session for them, and you know what?  It HAS been amazing!  Getting to catch up with people I got to know so well during their wedding journey was the BEST.  Hearing about plans and married life and big changes and little day to day things…it was awesome!  I’ve met with quite a few past #sspcouples and I need to get better about blogging these sessions because they truly are amazing!  There’s something about these sessions, when the craziness of the wedding season is past them and they’re just loving being MARRIED, that makes these sessions so, so fun!  I’m truly so honored that I get to be a part of each of these couples lives, not just from the engagement session and the planning and the wedding day itself, but on through as they establish themselves as a married couple!  This has been such a fulfilling month for me because of these sessions, and I hope it has been just as fun and satisfying for my couples, who get updated photos!

So to start: I met up with Camille and Michael last night at Champoeg State Park.  You remember their Thanksgiving weekend wedding at Troutdale House?  Well first, they shared that they’ve printed their bridal party and family photos GIANT SIZED and have a huge wall gallery in their living room of their wedding photos.  I.  Love.  Them.  It makes me so happy that they’re living with their wedding photos every day!

And then, THESE BEAUTIFUL MOMENTS HAPPENED!
