I had a few fabulous sessions for senior photos in Portland, Oregon over the weekend, and I’m so excited to share one of them on the blog today! I met Amanda’s family a few years ago at Rood Bridge Park in Hillsboro, when we did a big session for her extended family, but today it was just her! It was super fun to focus on exploring Champoeg with her and her mom.
It’s almost AUGUST, which means we’re starting to think about all the things we need to do for the start of school. For our family, that means school supply shopping…but if you’re headed in to your senior year of high school, that probably means you’re thinking about getting SENIOR PICTURES done!
What to Wear for Senior Pictures
Midway through the session, Amanda did a quick outfit change. I encourage my high school seniors to consider at least one outfit change to give some extra variety to their photos. It also allows them to show off both a casual and a formal look. Grandparents often love to print the versions with a more formal look and traditional pose. The casual looks are the ones that are perfect for Instagram long after graduation!
Places to Take Senior Pictures in Portland Oregon
The orchard gets such beautiful light just before sunset, and the location change along with the wardrobe change really added so much variety to Amanda’s session. This particular location is a favorite of mine for that reason–it’s only a few minutes from the first field location, but it’s so different. Less time driving between locations means more time for pictures!
I know Amanda has so much exciting stuff ahead, and I can’t wait to see where she ends up! Enjoy these senior photos, Amanda, and hooray for checking senior pictures off that to-do list!
