I’ve been so looking forward to Shana and Josh’s wedding, and last weekend was finally the TIME! I met these two for their engagement session over Memorial Day weekend, and they did their session on around four hours of sleep after driving out from Utah with their kids. Their whole session, they were just the sweetest, kindest people, and so I knew that their wedding day would be an amazing celebration full of that same kindness and love!
Their love story starts in the military, and races through languages, countries, and adventures together. Josh proposed with a fortune cookie, and last Saturday you bet there were hundreds of little hand-wrapped paper fortune cookies on every table, because that’s the kind of people Shana and Josh are. They’re the kind of people who soak in every moment, celebrate it, and then hold on to each other for the rest of all the moments. Their wedding was a soulful, sweet evening full of laughter and happy tears and plenty of sunshine. I hope your marriage is exactly the same.
After the ceremony, Shana and Josh sat in the front row as Josh’s sister sang a special song for them under the willow tree.
