I’ve been looking forward to Angela and Josiah’s fall wedding all year! We met at Unger Farm’s Country Bridal Showcase, where Angela told me all about how much she loved warm, glowy images, and I KNEW we had to work together! They made sure to give us plenty of time for portraits AND they scheduled their portrait time to happen in the hour before sunset, and so we got plenty of GLOW! Seriously–a beautiful couple in love, a big open field, and a glowing sunset?? Day. Made.
Their ceremony under the big oak tree at Champoeg State Park was just perfect! I loved that we also did their engagement session at Champoeg, so this will be such a special place for them for years to come. There’s just something about a ceremony under an old tree like that which just feels so timeless and beautiful in its simplicity. I loved it!
Outside of their beautiful sunset portrait time, Angela and Josiah also prioritized having a fun, fall-themed celebration! There were all kinds of special seasonal touches, like the caramel popcorn bar, and fun fall candy bar, and so many pumpkins and mums! They even had blankets at the ready for guests to cozy up with!
THIS FOOD. I’m literally sitting over here, waiting for it to be Tuesday so that Slick’s storefront in Wilsonville will be open for lunch again and I can go have more. It was THAT GOOD. And how awesome is it to have a food truck pull up to your wedding, ready to serve all your guests? Everyone loved it!
Angela and Josiah, congratulations on a beautiful wedding day, and best wishes for your marriage!
