They got engaged at the top of the tallest sand dune in Pacific City, so it was only fitting that we’d head to Cape Kiwanda for Colby and Taylor’s engagement session.  Colby’s family spent a lot of time in Pacific City as he was growing up, and it’s a place they’ve both come to love.  They introduced me to some of their very favorite spots as we hiked around the Cape.  I loved seeing their adventurous spirit and genuine love for each other during this session–at one point Taylor said that Colby was “basically a billy goat” when he wasn’t in dress clothes, and then he just totally casually mentioned that he’d CLIMBED THE ROCK WALL BEHIND US!  Like no big deal, just scaling rock walls above the ocean.  I can say with total certainty that I’ve never been out somewhere and been like, Oh, that GIANT WALL OF ROCK??  I’ve climbed that.  So I am completely in awe of these two beautiful adventurous spirits and I cannot WAIT for their winery wedding coming up this spring.  I’m certain they’re going to bring the magic to it.  Enjoy your engagement photos, you two!
