First thing’s first, friends. Can we talk about this DRESS? When Jessica and Connor arrived for their engagement photos at Cooper Mountain Nature Park in Aloha, I knew we’d have so much fun with this pretty, pastel, SWISHY dress! I always love when clients dress up a little–first, just because it’s a fun day! Engagement sessions are a great chance to relax together as a couple and do something special, so why not dress up? For me, I love when that involves a long dress with lots of chiffon to swish around because it just shows movement in your photos so beautifully. When you’re dancing? YES! When you’re jogging together through sunlit fields? YEP! For a dramatic dip and kiss? HECK YEAH!
I never get tired of this view! The rolling farmland in the background is just so pretty! Jessica also changed into this adorable pink lace dress for the last half of our session, which was just a great choice as the sun set. I love how soft all of the colors get! Most engagement sessions have time for an outfit change, and I love how it gives couples so much more variety in their final gallery.
Jessica and Connor were so fun to adventure through Cooper Mountain Nature Park with! Planning a wedding in the midst of a pandemic is not for the faint of heart, but together these two have GOT THIS! I’m excited for their wedding day–even if it may be a bit farther out than we thought. And I cannot WAIT to take more portraits of these two incredible humans!
