I’ve spent these last few weeks getting my systems set up again to start accepting portrait bookings for this summer—friends…I’m BEYOND excited to start shooting again! After 2020 collapsed in on itself, I grabbed a few sessions here and there, but between health concerns and suddenly homeschooling, I wasn’t able to take on as many sessions as I normally do.
Gosh, I’ve missed you all! I’ll be announcing available summer dates in a week or so, but until then, I thought I’d catch up with what all we’ve been up to over here!
Homeschooling. The answer is 1000% homeschooling. I guess also making ten thousand snacks each day. But mainly managing homeschool. It’s been fun, exhausting, all-the-things, and I feel grateful to have the opportunity to do it. So it’s been a lot of reading, science projects, hikes, cooking, fort-building, gardening…and a little math. Love these babies. I wouldn’t mind a nap, but overall this has been so fun!
There have been plenty of hard, challenging days in the last year. But I sure love looking at these little moments that have a little of that magic I love.
