Jenna and Armando kicked off engagement session season last weekend and it was PERFECT!! We’d waited a few weeks to get dry weather, and just before Valentine’s Day, it happened!! We went to Champoeg State Park because these two are practically neighbors with me here in Newberg and this beautiful location was five minutes from our front doors! We started in the field, then headed to the tree-lined path that used to be a street in the original pioneer townsite at Champoeg. Then we ended at this beautiful spot with trees that had glowy Spanish moss.
Look at this perfect field we found!! It’s tough to find this tall, wispy grass like this in the winter here in Oregon, but it happened and it totally looked perfect with Jenna’s white tulle skirt!
The absolute best part of this session–they brought their GIANT ST. BERNARD!!! AHHHH! Look at how big and fluffy and drooly he is!!! He tolerated the photo session and I fell 100% in love with him. My clients have been bringing their dogs to sessions so much lately and I LOVE it!
Mommy and daughter photos are always my favorite.
Jenna and Armando, I am so excited for your wedding this year! Thank you for sharing your adorable family with me and letting me get all those puppy cuddles in!
