You remember Lauren and Corey’s forest engagement session with their sweet dogs, right? I knew their wedding would be just as fun and relaxed–it was in the forest with their dogs too! Lauren and her bridesmaids got ready at McMenamin’s Grand Lodge, and I met them there for some photos before we made the drive out to their ceremony site.
The ceremony and reception were at Smith Homestead in the Tillamook Forest, which was in a BEAUTIFUL little clearing in the forest, along the river. After their ceremony, they had a champagne toast and confetti toss, which in my opinion, is the ABSOLUTE BEST way to celebrate just getting MARRIED!!
After that, Lauren’s dad presented Corey with his TOP SECRET BBQ recipe, since he was now an official part of the family!
Then we headed into the forest for a little walk with the bridal party. I loved how relaxed the whole day was, because Lauren and Corey put plenty of time into their timeline to do things like “walk around the forest with our best friends”. #weddinggoals, people. I love them, and I love the images we created during this time.
Back at the Homestead, the reception guests had arrived and it was time for more FUN! Lawn games were set up in the clearing, and indoors, there was a candy bar, bundt cakes for the wedding cake, and this adorable instax camera for the guest book. I love how much thought Lauren and Corey gave to creating a super unique and FUN wedding for their guests! Love you two—and congratulations!!
