We had a pretty incredible vacation at Mt. Hood last week, and now that I’m finally done going through the photos…I had to share! I think our last REAL vacation was five YEARS ago! Woo! We were overdue!

On our last vacation, which was to Bend, we rented a cottage on a farm on AirBnB and it was totally awesome, so we looked to AirBnB again and found this cabin! It was right along the river, pet-friendly, and had bunk beds for the kids. Some of my favorite memories of our trip were just hanging out at the cabin together–meals on the deck, the kids building forts in the woods, game nights together while we listened to the river through open windows.

We had quite a few little adventures while we were there too–a trip up to Timberline Lodge, fishing at Rainbow Trout Lake, and a hike at the National Forest along the river. We packed so much in to our time there, but it still felt so relaxing with a ton of down time. I loved this vacation and hope you enjoy some of these photos from our time there!

Lucy got to come too! Isn’t she the goodest girl??

My husband and I optimistically brought a bunch of books to read on vacation. Like we wouldn’t have children doing gymnastics moves on the couch next to us while we read.
